‘SOMETHING SPECIAL’ here July 13th 2023 Cherokee, Georgia – Innovative R&B-pop artist T-RELL is releasing his brand new single “Something Special” on July 13th, which will be available to listeners on all streaming platforms.

The tracks opens up bursting into a hook which was a reminiscent of famed pop artist, Chris Brown and Teena Marie when asked about writing the single, T-RELL sought to explore new ideas around the concept of true love, citing his belief that whilst it’s possible to find a soul mate, there’s more than one person you can love in a lifetime. The lyrics settle on our protagonist smooth-talking a new love interest, telling them to let go of their past heartbreaks whilst talking about buying them whatever they want in exchange for their heart.

When speaking of the story behind ‘Something Special’, T-RELL said “I wrote this song after finding new love following a difficult breakup. It’s an echo to my past self, who back then thought it was the end, and so I hope these lyrics speak to those of you feeling hopeless in love right now – don’t give up on yourself.”

He found solace in turning old clothes into art, and painting murals, before learning to sing and dance by watching the likes of Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, and Teena Marie.
